Me and my fine to medium, low porosity, protein sensitive hair

I'm just 10 days shy of being 2 years post big chop and I'm stil trying to figure out the best regimen for me! I just knew that by now I would have it all figured out, but nooooo, still working on it. I was doing pretty good with the cg method for about a month, but fell off the wagon when I tried a new gel for my wash and go and had to wash with a sulfate containing shampoo. Since then I've been battling knots, so I'm guessing I need a trim. Sigh. It would be great if I could just get it together! Anyway, the quest continues! The first pic is from last April and the second is from a month ago.

You have great growth!

Don't worry, this stuff happens to the best of us. We get a nice routine going, and then, all of a sudden, we need to switch it up. Nothing wrong with that!
