Default calling all hair doctors

Ok I feel like with you I'm having a visit at the doc. Here are my symptoms. First of all my hair always glides through so nice when I run my rinse out conditioner through it, as I'm a wavy, my fingers usually run right through.
I was in Utah for a week, using hotel water, regular water (I have a filter at home), pools (I used lowpoo, deva, after each time) Now at home. my hair was soo soo tangly in the shower, and it feels rough and stiff. I did a DT on it, for about twenty minutes, but still it feels just really stiff and tangly, I've never had tangly hair. And a huge big shed. And itchies to go along with it. Any ideas on what I can try are greatly appreciated. I always have issues with frizz and such, but not with tangly nappy hair Thanks

Try an oil rinse! That should help to get rid of the knots and tangles.

You might also try infusing a bit of it with rosemary and massaging some into your scalp to help with the itchies.

You could try a vinegar rinse, I've read that that's helpful for hard water deposits.

Did your dt have protein? Too much protein can cause stiff hair.

You may also need to clarify as the previous poster suggested

This was my first thought as well. If your hair tolerates an ACV rinse, maybe try that first. I do one weekly to deal with my local hard water, plus any buildup /itchies. If not, then try a "chelating" low poo that will remove any mineral deposits from the hotel /pool water. You'll want something with EDTA for that.
