Default Protein-free low poo for baby fine hair?

I need a protein-free low poo for my baby fine hair - something that isn't so moisturizing that it'll weigh my hair down (I'd prefer to adjust moisture needs with ROs and Llis) and can be found at Target or Whole Foods? Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Well I've used Giovanni Tea Tree shampoo before. No protein I believe and definitely no added moisture from that one, hehe.

Are you sure you want to go protein free? Baby fine hair just screams "give me some protein!" to me....

Thanks, SaraNoH. You may be right about it having no protein - my hair has been suffering and I've pinpointed the time it "went wrong" to when I started using G Tea Tree. I thought I remembered soy protein in it, but it may be the G Smooth as Silk Conditioner that has it. My head is spinning!

At any rate, I feel certain my hair does better with protein, but I over did it and need to avoid it for a while and then slowly work it back in, so I need a new protein-free shampoo that is not toooooooo moisturizing. I say that only because I tried Shea Moisture Moisture Retention Shampoo and it made my hair super mushy.

Thanks again!

Whole foods carries Everyday Shea products. They have very simple ingredient lists without proteins or humectants. I use their bubble bath as a low poo and I haven't find it to weigh down my hair or my daughter's fine hair. They also have a fine shampoo. And they have a good price!

If you can find Renpure Organics, one of the newer formulas is protein free. I think it's the Argan oil one.
