I unearthed a tube of this today from my mountain of hair products and I couldn't see any obvious 'cones so I'm wondering if it is safe to use now that I'm doing the CG thing. I know the mineral oil is a problem for some people - but I know I have recently bought some CG-approved products that also had mineral oil in them (and won't the oils in co-washing help dissolve the mineral oil when I wash?). Anyway, can anyone let me know if this stuff seems safe to use?

Oh, I unearthed something else: Ion Effective Care Treatment - just a single packet of it - but doesn't it look like there is a 'cone in it? I think it might be a protein treatment - which I would like to try - but not if there are silicones in it. Can anyone tell me for sure??

Both look fine. The ION Effective Care is actually pretty popular as a PT or RO depending on protein tolerance.

And I've been using straight baby oil to seal my hair for two weeks now and I haven't had any issues, even with co-wash only.
