I'm a 3B trying to decide on Eco Styler Gel! HELP!
I'm having the chance of buying an eco styler gel but I can't make up my mind whether to get the blue or the krystal!
I'm looking for strong hold and not loads of protein because my hair doesn't like it. I'm going to buy them through Amazon (can't purchase from anywhere else), and none of the shops say whether the blue one is the sport or the one for colour treated hair.
What do I do?
This is my 3B coarse and low porosity hair, btw

I know many protein-sensitive curlies don't like Eco Styler because all of them have a lot of protein. Blue is sport, though.
The pink one has pretty strong hold and is for curls and waves. (: HTH

I'm not familiar with the blue one. I tried the white one and it was so-so, but then I found another one that the same company makes, and they call it a "cream gel" but it's just a gel, I don't see anything creamy about it. It's called Ecostyler and the only real difference I see is the packaging and what they call it. It's in a bottle and not a tub, and it comes in either Argan Oil or Olive Oil versions. I like the Argan Oil. It has very good hold and doesn't dry too stiff, I'm able to scrunch it out. I found this at the 99Cent Only Store.
The same company makes it because it's featured on their website.

Thank you dresdendoll and Auntie Bubbs for your replies! I am a bit weary about the protein issue because I know that protein is not for me. I'm from Argentina and we don't have any "more than good" affordable products, particularly gels, and a friend of mine from the US is visiting next month, so I thought it'd be cool to get him to bring me a product that I can't get here. I watched a really good review video on youtube by MahoganyCurls that really made me want to try it, but a) I'm not sure it'd be for me because of the protein issue and b) I don't know which one to get!
I'll do some online search about the Ecostyler cream gel you mentioned, see if it sounds better than the gels.
Btw, here's MahoganyCurls' video review in case you haven't caught it on youtube.

I'm a 3b curly and I have been using Krystal Eco Styler Gel since December and it saved my hair. I now get consistent beautiful curls every day. It's my HG. I'm also protein sensitive and I found that it doesn't have enough protein to affect my hair negatively. It gives me my little dose that hair needs and I'm good. I use it after every wash and it gives me 2nd/3rd day hair. I say try it.

Thank you DepressedCurls! I was wondering about that, as in, how much protein my hair might like...I think I'll try the krystal (the blue on Amazon doesn't state whether it's sport or for colour treated hair). If budget wasn't an issue I'd definitely go for Devacurl products, but that'll have to wait...
Thanks for your replies, guys!

Jorgelina, IMO the Deva products have waaaay too much protein, so I think you're better off without them!!

There are 2 blues. One is sport, the other is for Colour Treated hair. The CT one has a softer hold than the sport.

The ecostyler cream gel mentioned above has no protein and is cheap.
