Aubrey Organics?

I really want to try the AO Honeysuckle Rose, but I checked out the ingredients, and the newest ones (as of June 4th,) say:
Water (Aqua), Cetyl Alcohol, Alcohol Denat. (38b, Lavender Organic), Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter) (Organic), Triticum Vulgare (Wheat) Germ Oil, Lonicera Caprifolium (Honeysuckle) Extract, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice (Organic), Glycerin, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil (Organic), Rosa Rubiginosa Seed Oil (Organic), Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate, Foeniculum Vulgare (Fennel) Fruit Extract, Humulus Lupulus (hops) Extract, Melissa Officinalis (Balm Mint) Leaf Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Extract, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Daucus Carota Sativa (Carrot) Root Extract, Beta Carotene, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Water, Angelica Archangelica Extract, Chrysanthemum Sinense Flower Extract, Magnolia Biondii Flower Extract, Ascorbic Acid

That alcohol denat...isn't that the drying one? But it says something about 38b and lavender? I don't know what that means :( Should I not buy it now? Thanks!

Well the GPB has had alcohol in it forever and I've got no ill effects from it. They are using it as part of their preservative system I think. And I suspect that it has always been there, they just didn't disclose it--maybe it was part of their "coconut fatty acid cream"

But like I said, it's always been in the GPB condish and I've been fine using it.

Try it and see if you like it. I don't think you will have anything bad happen. They have a lot of good emollients in there.

I have DC'ed with the AOHC for over a year. It works well for me. The formula hasn't changed. They now listing every ingredient in it, previously they did not.

I agree. Try it, I think you will like it.

Thank you both for your answers! I might pick up the White Camellia :)

Well, today, I had the MOST AMAZING wash n go I think I've ever had just using the Beautiful Curls Shampoo, Leave-in, and Gel. The leave-in, though, you have to use a lot because it's so thin. I actually decided to go to Whole Foods to repurchase, but they didn't have it :(

I thought I might as well try the AO White Camellia. Hopefully it works just as well! It looks really thick, so I'm glad it will probably last longer and I won't have to use as much.

Ive been thinking about trying Aubrey organics as well, im in germany and its one of the things that im able to get over here as well. im a conditioner only styling girl, wouldnt mind adding somthing else for hold, though right now im happy with it. any way any tips with getting the "best one"? or what i might have to watch out for?

Well, I tried it, and it's not for me. It's just too heavy and left me kind of stringy...very moisturizing in the shower, but not so much once I got out. I'll go back to my old stuff :)

Aubrey has a lot of great conditioners. I personally like their White Camellia Ultra-Soothing Co, Island Naturals Co & Rosa Mosqueta Nourishing Co. Look on their website and see which one best fits you. Good luck!!
