Conditioner Styling recommendations
Im looking for suggestions from other curlies that use conditioner only to style.
Currently Im using sauve coconut as my HG, and yes to cucumbers and carrots rotating.
Ive tried CJ banana hibiscus leave in but it seems too thick and heavy for my hair.
Im considering trying Kenra moisturizing conditioner and CJ coffee coco curl cream lite. Im a little hesitant because the CJ is so expensive and I tend to use a lot of conditioner.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Tressemme naturals, the moisturizing one.....love it. I'm going to try Devacurl One C when I can get my hands on some. I tried GVP conditioning balm and it was ok but I prefer the tressemme. I'm also going to try out some other conditioners....hmm suave coconut..must try it next.
I tried both CJ cccc and the honey butta and was disappointed . Definitely not enough hold.
I'd like to hear what others use as well.
ETA: I've heard the kenra works really good for some.

Im going to have to try the tresseme. Im a fan of not having to pay a ton for products (but will if its worth it).
Ive heard great things about the Kenra too. Im getting my hair cut on friday and they carry kenra. Ill have to try it there before i buy it ;0)
Im thinking about trying the shea moisture coconut hibiscus milk or smoothie. Im still not sure if the SMCH milk is a conditioner or a what yet.

I am just starting to try something along these lines myself. I want to see if I can figure out how to not use gel, because gels can be so problematic (build-up, frizz, breaking up clumps, etc.). This is scary for me because I've put gel in my hair ever since starting CG (and even before) thinking I had to with a 2c pattern - but my initial results are way better than I expected. So far I've tried KCKT (just ok, my hair started to get pretty poofy after a few hours), Tresemme Naturals moisturizing (pretty good), and Shea Moisture smoothie (loving this one). I also love the SM curl milk in general, and that's what I want to try as my only styler next. I love SM products because they can be used in so many ways - as RO, LI, styler, or put more in for a DT, etc etc. Very natural ingredients too.
I first tried this on a whim when I had nowhere to go, and was amazed at how curly my hair was! I think the gel was kind of smothering it a bit. A year into CG, and I feel like I'm still such a newbie sometimes, but it's fun to discover new things.

The SM milk kinda scares me for the fact it says use sparingly and not to get rear roots. To me that's scary. I'd really like to try it though.
For me going off gel was scary!!! For me just keeping my hair moisturized does the work. I love being off gel and having touchable hair. (I used to go through a tube of HETT in a week and a half)

i was using the rainforest moisture from the body shop. that was great, amazing hold and a bit heavy, but my hair is rather thick n full so that wasnt too bad, though now im using something else. like a handmade one. very moisturising but not much hold

Today I tried suave coconut and my hair turned out great. I still prefer my tressemme, but the suave almost ties for first place so far. Yay!!! How much more could I ask for?! I'm going to try Yes to Cucumbers, Darcy's pumpkin, Oyin honey hemp and a couple more conditioners I'm waiting on. I'm so excited!!! I also have a couple of other suave flavors I want to try, everlasting sunshine and mango mandarin .

Beautiful Curls Curl Enhancing Shea Butter Leave-in is amazing to style! I use the gel now with it (really more of a cream-gel consistency) for a little more hold, but I can go without it because the leave-in is so good.

Glad it worked for you, I LOVE it!!! Yes, I'm pretty sure the "natural" line is CG.

I'm still in the beginning of the CG routine but so far this seems to work for me:
co-wash (daily) with either Suave coconut or VO5 vanilla mint
RO: GVPCB, or Tresseme or whatever I feel like using (I have wayyyyy to many to choose from!)
then I plop, get dressed, drink my coffee, make lunches, etc....and when my hair is not drippy wet anymore, I use a blob of GVPCB as my LI.
The past two days I used Biotera Gel after the GVPCB and I loved how my hair curled and looked fpr the day - maybe it was a fluke...I'll keep trying things out
I HATE drippy conditioner-y hair dripping on my skin and shirt - so using GVPCB on plopped hair works best for me - because its so non-watery.
