Default Avoiding Boredom

I apologize in advanced if this is a topic repost I didn't see it though.

How do you ladies avoid getting bored with your hair? Before I started trying to grow ny hair long and healthy id just change the color but now that just isn't an option for me because 1. I dye my hair dark and in order to lift it id need to use bleach and that'll probably be very damaging and I probably won't even get the results I want and 2. I don't know when to stop when it comes to color. If I give myself an inch next thing I know I'll be taking a mile.

So what would you ladies do? I tried changing my part (middle part instead of side) lol aren't I daring? I ask because I notice that boredom leads to neglect which leads to setbacks.

I play with different styles - messy buns, headbands, updos, partial updos, accessories, etc. Now that my hair has reached shoulder length while curly, there are lots of options for styling.

Just before I clicked on this forum, I was thinking to myself, I am so bored with my hair! Lol. I have been considering a lot of different things, like color or cut, but I am too scared that I won't like the results. In the meantime before I get my courage up to do something, I have been trying a lot of different braid styles. I feel like I Amin the same boat as you.

Perhaps I'll just buy a wig and be done with it. My hair is almost apl while curly now and it just kinda hangs down lol. I don't have as much volume as I used to cus the weight from the extra length I guess.

My hair is mid back and every time I go to get a hair cut I vow to get it cut short, but always chicken out. The only thing that really makes me happy, is that I am bored because everything is working well. at least I don't have any problems with my hair that are eating up time and energy.

my hair is naturally really interesting.... even if i do the same every day, its always different, dont ask! lol have you heard of henna colouring? its a natural hair dy, thats really good for your hair. its naturally red, but if reds not your colour, if you look around then you'll find brown n black as well.
or have you thought of just getting high lights? that will add more volume to your hair as well.

That's a good way of looking at things. You're right.
