Question layers in hair..........?

Been wanting to get a haircut sooo bad but am sooo scared! I want more layers bc I think it would bring out my curls more...right? I have like mayb 2 layers in my hair but they r long layers and like from the bottom of my ears up there r no layers and I kind of want some there. Maybe it will give my hair a more full look just bc I have such fine dense hair. what do you all think?? Any comments would b awsome b4 I get a haircut!

I'm interested in this too.

For those of you with layers, where is your shortest one?

Shorter layers tend to make the hair look fuller, because the hair's weight is reduced, causing the curls to curl/spring up more. That's all I know!
