Default Looking For A Natural Protein Conditioner

Hi everyone!

I am so happy to join the forum! *waves*

I have recently started using a all natural hair care routine and I have found everything I needed to maintain my moisture levels. I am having a hard time finding an all natural conditioner (no silicones) that is like a medium to heavy protein I can use once a month.

Do anyone know a good natural protein conditioner that is silicon free?

Thanks

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by natural, but you might want to give Mill Creek a try. The ingredients are good, it has multiple animal proteins and they are very high on the ingredient list. You can get it at the Vitamin Shoppe or online. For natural, you can't beat IAgirl's gelatin protein treatment. It's strong, it works, and you control the ingredients 100%. If you do a search on the forums, you will find the recipe.

I'm not sure what you mean by all natural either but my favourite protein conditioner is Aubrey Organics gbp (or gpb, can't remember!). My hair's picky with protein but responds well to this.

Like Starmie said, Aubrey GPB is a great heavy protein conditioner.

Mill Creek has a great keratin conditioner I like. Also, Avalon Organics lavender has wheat protein in it, and I like that conditioner as well. You could also use Shea Moisture's curl milk or smoothie as conditioner - these contain silk protein.
