I have never used one, because I dont like the "petroleum Jelly" effect. What curl cream(s) do you like? how do you use it? all year or only in certain seasons or climates? combined with what other products?

I like Curl Junkie Coffee Coco Curl Creme Lite (CCCL). I often use it with KCCC or another gel on top.

Recently I tried AG: Recoil and that is completely different - thicker and I only needed a tiny bit but WOW! Great curls.

Curl creams vary a lot - you might try a few to see if you like them at all. Also, if you seem someone whose hair looks like yours, check out their signature; you might like whatever curl cream they are using. What is your hair type and do you know the "properties" of your hair?

So...just to clarify...curl creams go on under hard gels correct? One can rake & scrunch curl creams & then scrunch on hard gel? Ordered the book...but wanna know all now! 😉

I have never used curl cream and gel together. For my hair that would be too much and unnecessary since they are both stylers. I use my li, oil, and gel or my li and curl cream. I skip the oil with cc because mine has oil in it and adding more makes my hair greasy.
my fav is Roots of Nature Coil Cream because it is very runny. The thicker pudding like creams are too heavy for my hair.
