As it is, not great slip, but it I splash a bit of water on my head, I then get great slip and clumping.

Really??? All of you guys find it has low slip?? That's so odd! I must be a freak! Lol! I'll admit there are slippier things out there, but I have found GBPCB to have GREAT slip!
I wonder if there's any correlation between liking this product (or not) and hair porosity? Lately I have found porosity to be more of a factor in many aspects than I ever would have thought.

That's too bad it doesn't work for some. I have used it for 5 years and still love it. I tried the actual Matrix Biolage brand and much prefer the GVP to it. I love that it has so many uses. For me, I've used it as a co-wash, rinse out, leave-in and deep treatment. What more could you ask for from an inexpensive conditioner?

Oh! That's good! A hair stylist on here was saying it did now, I thought! And everyone was afraid that would mean they'd add it to the GVP version.

I have used both the GVP and Matrix and I think the Matrix is a little better for my hair, but the difference is negligible.

I have tried it a few more times since my last post and I like it. I do find it rather easy to de-tangle with and it does leave my hair feeling soft but the smell isn't so pleasent.

Maybe it does. Im guessing it may have something to do with how wet your hair is when you use it. Highly porous hair gets sopping wet easily, right?
I have low porosity hair so I tend to have to wet it down again after applying conditioner to get that sopping seaweed feeling. It's not really wet right off the bat.

That's so hard for me to imagine!! Lol!! My hair is wet in humid air, let alone in the shower!!
But that makes total sense - it's a very thick condish, so I can see how it would work better with more water!

I bought it once after all the reviews and it didn't do anything me either! It was very thick (which I love) but it just seemed to sit on my hair like it never penetrated!
