Default looking for hair accesories for thick hair

Is there anyone who has long hair who can share with me what they use in there hair to hold it up ? I have purchased claw clips and have used others in every size available at Wal mart and other local stores. I really do not want to keep spending money on things that DO NOT work,Small Bobbie pins don't even work anymore. If I tryed to use them I would have to use an army of them (yikes)! Hopeing somebody can help me out. i am sorry if I posted in the wrong place. i am new to this board and just learning how things work. :confused 2:

Welcome! And don't worry. You did not post in the wrong place! My hair is fairly thick (meaning I have a lot of it, lol) and I found these awesome bobby pins at Sally's that work much better than the typical Goody and Conair bobbies! They're called Metagrip Premium Bobby Pins and come in different sizes (mini, normal) and colors (black, blonde, brown). They're very durable! Also I have a Flexi-8 clip, which works well with my hair! I just can't make a ponytail with it because it's kind of small for all of my hair to fit into it. The Flexi-8's come in different sizes, too! Good luck!

Spin pins? I just bought 2 and they're great. Somehow they're able to hold up all of your hair. My hair's pretty thick and they hold no problem. Just make sure you put them in right though.
