trying KCCC again

Thanks for all the tips with my last post. I am giving it a shot again. I used less, put it on wetter hair than last time, and I topped w/ a bit of LALSG for increased hold.

I wasn't impressed initially. But as I kept diffusing it got better. Don't know if I love it, so we will see how I feel later today......

I think I bought and sold KCCC at least three times before I tried it again and ended up loving it. Don't know why my hair finally seemed to like it, especially since I've tried it in all seasons.
Coarse texture, normal-high porosity, normal elasticity (Komaza Care), very weak waves
cleanser: Redken Fresh Curls Shampoo, CJ Daily Fix

rinse out: GVP Conditioning Balm, CJ Repair Me, CJ Smoothing

jellies/creams: CR Curl Maker, KCCC, UFD Curly Magic
gels: CJ CQ, BRHG

I like the way it works on my hair, but the scent is a bit strong.

asianrunner - what was your routine with it?

Proud momma to 8!!!
Hair Type: Used to be 3a/b, now 2b/c Wavy/Whurly
Style: cirly pixie, growing out from a buzzcut. Aiming for at least a jaw length bob
Routine: Figuring that out since my hair has changed... so far:

Curl Enhancer: SS CEJ
Styler: KCCC, CK Coil Jam, SS FHG
Deep Conditioner: CK Curlycue Renew, CK Curl Fix

It worked OK. My hair looked nice.....but I think I still prefer AIA and the Noodle Head Mousse. I don't hate it, and I will use it.

curlymomma I scrunch it in upside to soaking wet hair with no leave-in. It's pretty moisturizing on its own.

I waited for over a year before finally giving in to KCCC. I've now tried it by itself, over a curl cream, over a mousse, & smastered with it. I've used a little, a medium amount, & a lot. I'm still not overly impressed, although it does seem to get better the more I diffuse dry. I dont find it moisturizing enough, & I dont need a ton of moisture, but I've also tried putting a richer LI under it. Every time I've used it, I get that flash drying tangly effect I get with glycerin products only it's glycerin-free, & by the end of the day my hair feels weird & plasticky. I dont hate it enough to never use it again, but its not my miracle product I was hoping it was gonna be, especially since I like KCKT I had high hopes for it. Maybe I just havent found the way it works for me yet.
