Hi! i'm new here and don't know if i'm wavy or curly

Hi all. For years I just thought I had bad frizzy hair. It didn't "behave" and it didn't curl. Then I thought maybe I'm wavy, so I started cg a few months ago and this is what I got (this is second day hair so not the most flattering eg but reasonably representative).

What have I got here? Thanks for your help!
Additional info - no color or other chemical treatment, no heat for years, using suave naturals , tres Somme and herbal essences set me up gel. I plop over night because I get better curls and I have no time in the morning.

I'm digging around all the great info here, but finding it overwhelming. I appreciate any help in identifying my hair type and any other pointers . Thanks!
It looks like 2c to me. I think it just needs a little shaping of the layers to be gorgeous. It's pretty as it is, just looks like it would benefit from a good cut.

Also, maybe try a good curl cream instead of the gel, or a mousse. Your hair looks like the texture is fine. Hope you get some other responses.
2/c and some 3A. Modified CG.
Protein sensitive
Highly porous. Color over grey.
Best 1st day method: Super Soaker
Conditioners: Curl Junkie Beauticurls Strengthening Conditioner,
Deep condish: Curl Junkie Curl Rehab
Stylers: Mix Curls in a Bottle into everything for shine. Terrible pj
Sometimes try roller sets - classic glamor but I prefer my curls.
Every day is a gift
I'm new here too, and new to the CG method, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. I was thinking 2B or 2C for your hair. And about the above comment about the benefit of a good hair cut... I think it's worth it to spend the extra money for a stylist or salon that specializes in curly hair, so definitely look in to that. I found a salon here that specializes in curly hair and it was money well spent.
My hair: TBD, but appears to be 2B/2C, medium density, medium porosity with higher porosity on chemically treated ends, medium width.

Permed 1 year ago, should be mostly grown out and cut off. I'm not sure how much of these curls are my own.

Current products being used: DC No poo, DC conditioner, DC gel, FSG
