There are so many possible causes for frizz. Humidity (or dew point), an ingredient that your hair doesn't like (or that reacts to the humidity in the air), dryness, overdose (or too little) of protein or conditioner, your hair's nature can all play a part in it. Knowing your hair properties, your climate, your products, and your routine can all help to figure it out.
There was a great thread with a rundown on different types of frizz, what they looked like, the causes, and ways to help, but I cannot locate it.
