Long term success with Devacurl?

Has anyone had long term success (consistent results, improved hair condition, less frizz, etc.) using Devacurl products exclusively over a long period of time? I've had good results with no poo, one-c, and arc-angell, but only used them for about a week before my PJ kicked in and I wanted to try something new. I'm also curious if these products may have a cumulative effect on the hair's condition.

edited to add: I've had initially good results with Devacurl, but sometimes my hair would get dull and frizzy later in the day.
Texture: Fine
Porosity: Low
Elasticity: Low
Density: Medium/High...I think

It is all I use and I like it, don't plan to switch, use all the products.
Hair type, thin, 3b, past my shoulders always looking for length. Use jessicurl hair cleansing cream, devacurl one c, angel, set it free, Always see a deva trained stylist for cut and Aveda Institute for color.
i've been using deva products for about 8 months and love them. the only reason i occasionally use something different is to use up old gels i'm trying to get rid of, but Angell is my HG or HG's
2b (a fine 'n porous wavy)...and finally growing out :-)

Wash: Deva Low-poo
Condish and leave in: OneC or Suave Coconut

Styler: Angell or the Deva foam, sometimes KKKC

Etc: Set It Free as a refresher

Protien: Looking for one

I love hairspray...don't judge
One Condition for 3 years now. I've tried many of the latest and greatest conditioners to come down the pike, but for me, One C beats them all.

It conditions well but not so much that my hair gets limp. Almost a styling product (I leave it all in). HTH
I have finally realized I look my best when my hair tells me how it is going to fall, and I just make suggestions.

Yeah, me too. My inner rebel gets out every once in a while, but time and again I go back to Deva products. I get the most consistent (good) results with them, not to mention the most consistent compliments.

In fact, it happened again today so I've posted new pics in my Fotki about it. Still, it just seems so boring using the same 3 products over and over again. IMO, not nearly as cool (or nice smelling) as Jessicurl. I've come to the conclusion that my hair likes Devacurl more than I do!

LizzyBennet: I just looked at your album and your hair is gorgeous! Not to go off my original topic but I'm curious to know, how much One-C you used when your hair was really long? My hair is only shoulder length but I have to apply palmfuls of it to get that slippery feeling. Maybe I'll have to use less over time (?).

I use other conditioners, but I haven't stopped using One C or No-Poo since I started using them 2.5 years ago. One C is my favorite conditioner ever! If I had to choose just one conditioner to use forever, it would be that one.

I have had success with the Devacurl line. I have been using them for over 2 years. I always use the One C. It's the only conditioner for me. I use the rest of the line, but love to experiment from time to time, especially with styling aids. I love adding other products to my rotation, but Devacurl is my staple for 2 years+

Clarita,

Thanks for the compliment! I had to use much more OneC when my hair was long than I do now, but it did get less over time. It also didn't hurt that I wore my hair up most of the time then because there was too much of it to deal with on a day-to-day basis! I probably use about 2 palm fulls per wash now (small hands, small palms) and the same amount of Angell. I just love how shiny and basically unfrizzy my hair is with the deva products. Not to mention the smell. I'm in love with the smell of low-poo and Angell.

Yes, I have definitely been achieving long-term using the Deva products. The only thing is my hair tends to get "used to" a product after awhile, so I'll alternate periodically with some comparable others, but then I always return to my Deva stuff.

I agree you do use less as time goes by.
