Need new advice

My name is Ericka. i recently registered to naturally curly and i'm lobing the site already!

If anything i would just really like some tips! I stopped getting relaxers close to the end of December of 2011. A few weeks ago i finally got ALL of my relaxed ends cut !! I was soo happy haha & now comes the real test, i have noo idea what im doing. lol, i just jumped into being natural because its better for our type hair. and i think my hair type is 4A or 4B ... i can't tell? I KNOW for sure it isnt 4c. i shall put up pictures, but theyre probably not that good, i couldnt get my full head well :/

Well as most of you know! type 4 hair is very dry, which comes to my next question. how the freakity freak do i keep it moisturizeD? hahaha. i don't really have a regimen as of yet, im firguring that out right now. my hair stylist told me i should wash my hair every 2 weeks though, but how do i keep it moist in between? i use coconut oil, water, and sometimes cantu oil. i co-wash maybe every 3-4 days? but when i do i usually just seal it with the coconut oil, i guess it does something? i cant tell since my hair is like a vaacum -_-

When i first started, i washed my hair every other day, and conditioned it. then i started lessening the shampooing to just once a week. The products i use are, Mixed chicks shampoo and the ocnditioner, coconut oil, cantu hair and scalp oil, taliah waajid curl cream (WORKS wonders!!), and water. Should i try different products? If so pleaseee suggest some really good ones in your opinion. Oh and for the curls, i wanna try kinky curly (heard it was one of the best) but its so darned expensive, i just wanna know is it really GOOD before i spend money on it?
Sounds like you need to try sealing your hair?

You do that after your shower, usually after LI, and you do it by applying oil to your wet hair. There are tons of threads about it on here, and tons of oils to try.

I had no luck sealing with CO, tho I do love it for moisturizing and for use on dry hair.

My best oils for sealing is mineral oil. But everyone is different! Read up on ere and start experimenting! Good luck!!
