It's bigger and I just look nicer with it.

I love it because it changes moods just as much as I do and I might complain at first but it gets me creative in how I style my hair sometimes lol. There's been a few occasions where a bad hair day ended up being a great hair day because of the way I was forced to style it and all the compliments I got. Not because I hid my waves and whirls, but because I worked with them and made them look the best I could without giving in to the iron.

On another note I do notice a lot of "wild" comments to describe both the hair and the curly girl/guy. I think it's so true though. I've NEVER met a curly person that wasn't a fun and free spirit.

I had one of those yesterday! I diffused it too much so it was frizzy and huge (which I liked) plus it was a windy day. I had to wet it down a little, put a little more conditioner and scrunch it...and I had the best hair I ever did! Very curly and defined.

I love this thread! My favorite thing about my curly hair is the volume, I love having big, thick, wavy/curly hair.

What a fun thread! I love how fun and carefree my hair makes me look. I have been letting it grow for the first time in over 20 years and didn't know what I was missing. My hair is much curlier the longer it gets.

I know it sounds cliche, but it makes me more unique. People say I look like "me" when I have curly hair, even after I stopped straightening my hair the reaction was really positive. I also think I just look better with curls. And it's fun to twirl!

When I wear my hair "out" and curly whether it's a w-n-g, braid out or twist out I am inevitably told that I look young and carefree. Considering that I have grays popping all over the place that I try to keep ahead of with henna, this definitely feels good. I think as a rule (I'm sure there's exceptions) curly hair makes one look young or younger than they are. That's definitely something I
love about my curls (coils).

I love that when I walk my hair bounces. I love that it's unique and that I get a minimum of 1 compliment a day about how awesome it is. I got stopped in the grocery store the other day by a man who told me that my curls were super sexy this is a week after having a cut at Devachan in Soho, so I'd say my stylist did good!

I love the compliments too, i love straight hair too...but not many people stop to compliment straight hair just because of the way it is in texture. we do. If that makes sense! I love it. It's so exotic too, one of my favorite parts. <3

I find myself frequently complimenting women with curly hair. I was at the DMV today and this African American gal (probably late 40s/early 50s) with a gorgeous head of curls waited on me. There was a slight pause in conversation as she was wwaiting on me. I proceeded to tell her she had gorgeous hair. I think I made her day.
