Default How to wrap short curly hair at night?

Hi guys, I'm new here! I'd like to know how you suggest wrapping shorter curly hair. I'd also like to know if you suggest wetting hair down daily. This is what I normally do because of how thick and coarse it is, I cant put a comb through it otherwise. But I'm afraid that I overmanipulate it doing so! D: Obviously, I'm new here and I need to get my regimen down, but I've no clue where to start.
Thank you for your time! Any advice would be highly appreciated.

I pineapple my hair at night and sleep on a satin pillowcase. When it was too short to pineapple, I used a satin sleep cap. Either method gives me good protection for my curls. In the morning, I spritz with a mixture of water and AVG, scrunch and reshape a little and I'm good to go.
