These pop up ads are very annoying!
NC, I know you need sponsors, but do the ads have to pop up as soon as I begin to post or read? It is really very annoying.

The only adds I get (on my phone) are curlmart ads before any replies in a thread - but even that is irritating. Haven't looked at the site on my laptop, tho, so maybe it's not as bad (or maybe worse?) on there.

Oh, Hi, Gretchen, its not YOUR fault. What happens is that i log on, go to a question or comment, and (usually its a full page ad from Macys) pops up which I have to exit in order to read or post.

I heard back from the ad team. Apparently they are working with a third-party company that is placing those pop-up ads, and they are in touch with them to address the issue.
