anyone still using Miracurl curling gelly?
Before spending more money on curling items, I'm going to do more research on them. My last was KCCC, worked once then never again.
I have 3A hair, I would appreciate if anyone has any comments.

Agree with you about the KCCC! Well, I haven't tried the Miracurl because it has glycerin at the top of the list. Also, I heard it's sticky, so I figured since KCCC is sticky, it wouldn't work well for me. Non sticky gels work best in my hair, like the Koils by Nature one(:

Curl type is transient. It's best to choose ingredients/products by hair properties. Here's a link if you need to determine yours Live Curly Live Free - Curly Hair Basics
I finally discovered that my hair hated the chemicals in gels, but really likes the "jelly" products (my definition is gelatinous products without the chemicals.) The first time (a few months after I started using products) I used KCCC, my hair was incredible. Best it was up until that point. At the time, it never repeated that performance. Eventually, I stopped using it. Last year, when I found the Curly Kinks line, I started using the DT (Curlycue ReNew) with it. I LOVE CK and wanted another combo. Can't tell you the compliments I got that day. At this point, that combo is one of my true HGs.
The DM Curling Gelly is another jelly that's in my rotation. It works well with any products I use.

I emailed Ayanna to see what was going on. She got back to me with this response:
"The problem is that we have to look for a new source for one of our main ingredients, xanthan gum. We use a very special xanthan gum to create the Gelly and the supplier we used went out of business without providing any information on where we can find a replacement. We will update the website with these details in the next few hours.
We hope to find a new supplier very soon because if not, we will have to reformulate "
