Or when you realize you're down to your last bottle of Tresemme Naturals and you're thinking it's either a midnight run to Walmart or a panic attack. Yes, this is me right now!!

I think this now qualifies me as OCD...when you are treating your hair curl by curl. This curl needs some protein and that curl does not. This curl needs some moisturizer and that curl does not.

The other day someone mentioned to me they had run out of gel, and all I could think was, "What are you saying? I don't understand - how can you allow yourself to run out of gel . . . or any product for that matter?!"

I also chuckle to myself when someone asks, "How do you get your curls to look like that?"
Oh, if only there were a quick and easy answer to that question.

You know you're OCD about your hair when you glance at the Ctrl on your keyboard and for an instant think it spells Curl.

When your friend posts on FB, "Thinking of going natural. Should I or shouldn't I?" And your voice, the white girl, is the loudest one telling her "Yes!!! Do it!!" And you post comments with links to all the curly sites that you know and ask her how she's thinking of transitioning. She thought I was nuts. LOL

You let your curly haired dd color her hair, but BEG her not to let the girl straighten it or give her a relaxer. (She was considering it...but I think I've convinced her to love her curls.)

When u receive more than one phone call a day with the question, "ok I just washed my hair, what's the next thing to do?" and "am about to wash my hair, for how long should I pre poo?"

And when u warn your sister not to buy any product!!! Until you check out the ingredients and reviews.

And finally, when your almost 2 year old baby begs you to moisturize his hair

When you prefer to postpone your workout to another day because you already washed your hair the day before and don't want to stress it

When you can't sleep because you don't find the right position that won't mess up your curls

When you hear words like protein and moisture and think of hair properties

When you go to bed in anticipation of trying new methods or products the next day

When you get excited to see an email saying your thread/post just got a reply

When you go on CurlTalk at work when the boss isn't looking

Oh, the list goes on and on
