Hmmm...rain has no effect on my hair in it's natural state. It only gets poofy if it's straightened, if not it's all good.

Which is necessary since I live in Portland...the land of rain.

When it's one o'clock in the morning and you're sending your friend who lives halfway across the world an email with picture attachments of your hair shorter from years ago and demanding, "Should I chop it off?"

Oh dear, wait. Was that me? No wonder I'm tired today.

When you get a little extra cash and first thing you think about buying is hair products.

When...at least 2 or 3 of your (straight haired and completely uninterested) family members/friends know what co-wash and low poo mean.

When ...you're so used to scanning ingredients lists for conditioners that one day you momentarily forget it's a pasta readymeal and think 'pureed tomato?! I'm not sure I want that in my hair!'

When...you can visit two or three local pharmacies to pick up a bottle of suitable conditioner and come back empty handed.

When...you're trying to find something relaxing to think about to help you get off to sleep....Hmm, ok, what conditioner/styler combo could I use tomorrow?

When...you're sharing a hair breakthrough, and someone's eyes are glazing over.

When...you re-read curly hair books again and again just for fun. In fact lets face it, when...you own curly hair books.

Trying out new things, still looking.
