Conditioner / Gel to weigh hair down?

Hi, I'm looking for new products that will help weigh my hair down. By end of day, my hair is poofy and I just need something with hold. I like the LA Looks Sport Gel, but was thinking perhaps a leave in under it might help? I'm basically looking for the best of both worlds, something that has hold, but no crunch. Any suggestions? Preferably something I can buy local. Thanks!!

do you use a leave in? that will help. and if you don't use an oil, you can try an emollience butter like spiral solutions emollience butter or jane carter nourish & shine. you can get jane carter locally, go to the website and do a store locator.

LALSG is pretty crunchy for me, unless I use an oily leave in or Mixed Silks gel underneath. You could try BRHG. It's suuuper strong and wasn't as crunchy as LALSG I thought. Plus LALSG can be drying for some because of those dang proteins.

I don't know if I'm the only one who finds this to be true, but the ingredient hydrocellulose or something like weighs my hair down a bit. Aussie instant freeze has the ingredient and does this to me.

Thanks ladies! Will look into something to use a leave in.
For added weight as well as moisture, if you do layer your products you might want to try sealing your LI with a butter instead of an oil and if you then use gel, try sealing your gel with a little oil.
