Default Mayonnaise?

Has anyone done this treatment? Are there benefits for naturally curly hair? Would it be bad for a protein-sensitive to use? Let me know your experiences. I'm thinking about giving it a try.

Here are some hair-treatment recipes that contain mayo.

I've done mayo. Slather it on, cover in plastic, wrap in hot towel and let sit for 30 minutes. Works great! I can't stand the smell though. My hair smelled through several washings. Maybe one of the recipes suggested above wouldn't smell so much.
