Coconut oil!!! This oil has made beautiful love to my hair and in return my hair had grown TREMEMDOUSLY in the past 3 mths I've used it. I use it to lubricate my scalp as well as a sealant for my hair shaft.

The rest of my products I rotate out to prevent resistant hair, so I wouldn't call them a "holy grail" per se.

My go-to products are

AG re:coil low-poo
TN NM
As I Am Curl Enhancing Jelly - the only product that gives me shine

Other products work, but none as effectively as these 3.

As an Indian girl I hav always loved coconut oil.. It does help me with my growth.. But for some reason it dint work as a sealant for me..


Hair type: 3a/b Fine, dense with medium porosity ..loves protein

EVOO as hot oil/prepoo
Banana and honey as dc
TJ N&S and TN as cowashes or li when mixed with AVJ
flaxseed gel

Beautiful Textures Deep Conditioner, $7ish at Sally's. Smells delicious and moisturizes my hair like none other -- my hair actually ABSORBS it! In the shower my hair doesn't feel heavy, it feels slippy and moisturized.

Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Relaxing Balm. Makes my waves smooth, sleek and soft. And mixed with TIGI Curlesque Curl Amplifier, which adds hold and bounce to my hair, it's a winning combination! My hair looks awesome, consistently.

Renpure Organics shampoo in the red bottle. Sulfate free, but removes all buildup and it doesn't strip my hair. I like to mix it with a light conditioner for a super gentle co-poo.

And lastly, argan oil. I love it, my hair really absorbs it and it adds shine and softness.

Honestly. Sauve coconut. I use this daily as my styler. If I'm not using it to style because I used a heavier conditioner I will use it to cowash then. Love products with multi uses. 😎

It's glorious, but suuuuuper moisturizing, be careful if you have fine hair!

Desert essence, Fairy Tales Curly-Q Gel, and Everyone Shampoo Coconut and Lemon.

I havent tried suave as a styler.. Does it leave ur hair crunchy??
