I don't think the castor oil is a good idea. It could build up

thank you for the fast reply! other than that are the ingredients okay?

this is for a co-wash (ouidad's) and it would be rinsed out- do you think that would matter?

Castor oil may be one of those things that is an individual preference thing. It is often used in hair growth promoting products, and some rave about what it does for eyelash growth, too. For me when I've used it, it has been absorbed quickly and I haven't had to worry about build up.

Castor oil is definitely a ymmv thing. Some people here use it no problem. I can't though, and not so much that it builds up but that my scalp hates it.

i am making a video review on this product soon and wanted to mention if it is cg or not so i will point out the castor oil for those concerned
