What do CGs use for Color?

I can no longer use redken b/c of the wheat.

I was going to try PM shine (semi-perm) b/c it's wheat free. The processing solution, however, has peroxide in it? I'm going to try looking further into the ingredients, but - what do you you ladies use? Anything gentle and CG-friendly?

I use henna. RCW touted its benefits for so long, I had to try it!

How do you like henna? How long does it last?

I always associate henna with being reddish and I don't like red in my hair.

I think there are darker, non-red shades, but I'm not completely sure. I use it because I'm a redhead, and it gives me back the heat that age tends to fade.

The most important thing is to use body art quality henna, such as they sell at Henna for Hair.
