Shammies?

Anyone tried a shammy? Sometimes my hair has so much water (and therefore weight!) that I want to try a sham-wow with a t-shirt over it!! Lol!

What do you use to try to get a lot of excess water out?

If I need water out quickly without frizzing, I've plopped into a t-shirt, then layered a terry towel over top. Pressing /squeezing the towel against the t-shirt pulls out a lot of excess water in a short amount of time. Depending on what you need during the drying process, a t-shirt turban with terry towel over top might work too.

I tried the sham-wow!! Hahaha
The time I plopped with it, it looked really bad, and the time I just blotted with it, it left me really frizzy. Honestly, I've tried that, t-shirts, and drip drying, but I've found the best is just a plain terry cloth works best. I blot a few times, and it gives me nice, frizz-free curls :)

See, I was thinking I'd try a shammy with a t-shirt over it (or rather under it, I guess?) just for blotting. Especially as it gets colder, I can't have my hair be as wet as I have it these days!

A regular terry cloth? And it doesn't give you frizz or break up your clumps?? Idk if that would work with my hair... Might try it sometime, tho!

With the terrycloth towels, I get a ton less frizz and more clumps. Maybe my hair is just weird, haha, or I just have really good terrycloth towels. After I shower, I do the super soaker, apply my leave-in, and then gently, gently blot my hair with the towel. After that, I scrunch in my styler. HTH!
