Default Let's dream a little! ;)

If you could get one of your favorite hair product companies to make your dream product, which company would you choose and what kind of product?

I'm actually having problems deciding this myself, but I would love for Jessicurl to make a nice thick cream styler (thick but light - kind of a pudding texture) that would enhance curl, moisturize, and give body and hold at the same time! A gel would be great too.
I'd also love to see Curl Junkie come out with a gel to match some of her great cream stylers. Just nothing too sticky or crunchy.

What would yours be?

I would love to have Deva One C smell like Angell...although I LOVE the way One C smells already, I also love the way Angell smells. I would also love body care that smelled like Angell....as for the perfect hair product it would probably be a cream-gel combo with great all day hold without the crunch made by DevaCurl most likely.

You know I was trying to think of something for Devacurl to make but for some reason them making a cream just seems wrong, although I'm not sure why. I guess I just can't envision them making a cream for some reason. And I do like everything they make except for B'Leave-in. A DT maybe?

I'm completely with you Lushaholic. I would LOVE Jessicurl to come out with a new styler that works for me since neither of her stylers work on my hair. A gel or a light cream would be great especially if it was protein-free like the rest of her products. I'm so content with her conditioners though, that even dreaming, I couldn't think of a thing I would change about them!

You took the words right out of my brain!! My need right now is for the texture & benefits of TooShea with hold, definition, volume & frizz control.

This is my first CG winter & my hair officially HATES winter without cones-- my wallet hates it too since I'm buying every & any styler trying to find something that works. Definitely need to move closer to the equator.

An ultra-moisturizing conditoner with lots of behentrimonium and fatty alcohols for slip, a non color-stripping humectant (no honey, no glycerin), good oils for moisture, all in a product that is protein (which includes no minimal amounts of proteins as thickeners), and cone free. Suitable for a rinse out and a leave in to save space and money. It would smell like the CJ banana stuff.

B2B would go back to the old formula, and just cause I said so.
Jess would make a flax seed gel
Suave would put peppermint oil in all it's Naturals conditioners
All the gels would have to have aloe in it

DevaCurl would make a DT and a creme styler

All all natural stuff would NOT have any cones in them

Oh and someone needs to make another creme cleanser that is cheaper and works as well as no poo (assuming that new v05 doesn't)

Simple: I would love for Suave to make non-sulfates versions of their shampoos.

Wouldn't it make EVERYTHING just easier if you can get a non-sulfate shampoo and conditioner all for under 3 bucks?!

Oh, and if they were to make a vanilla scented hair gel that works exactly like their Anti-Frizz Gel, if not even BETTER. I'd be *so* set.

*dreams away*

If you have Trader Joe's, you CAN get a sulfate shampoo and conditioner for cheap, not under 3 bucks for the two together, but only like 2 bucks each, maybe $2.50.

I need to bombard them with emails. I just wish they'd sit a bunch of us off this board down in one room, have us all write down what are individual needs are and what works and does not work for our hair, and come out with the PERFECT curls line ever.

I didn't know that at all!! I know (or at least think) there's a Trader Joe's in NYC because every so often I see someone carrying a bag from there. Don't have a clue where it is though. That's *really* good to know though!

Yes, DominicaHeat if you can get your hands on some Trader Joe's nourish condish (I personally haven't tried the poo, but I hear it's good too), I think you would like it.

I've seen some good stuff on the board about it. Is that the one that is very similar to EMBC?

Yep, that's the one...some people add coconut oil to it and say it's even closer to embc with the coconut oil.

This was already mentioned but,

I would love for Jessicurl to make a medium hold gel that still leaves the hair soft. A cream styler that would work on both wet and dry hair would be great too.

That's just what I was thinking! I'd also like this wonder gel to have mallow or marshmallow (the plant, not the puffy white candy) mucilage.

I would love for CurlJunkie to come out with a gel designed to work with the leave-ins and cremes, and meant specifically to provide humidity-busting hold. Some of the products that I use for hold have glycerin in them and layered over the leave-ins it can become too much of a good thing.

If I could get my favorite products locally, that would be...my gosh. The thought leaves me speechless.

I would LOVE it if there was a strong-ish hold gel that smells like CJ Hibiscus and Banana.
