Just Annoyed...

Omg, I'm sooo frustrated with my hair right now! Well, actually more frustrated with what my hormones are doing to my hair. I hate how greasy it gets when it's close to that "time of the month". Seriously, I just clarified it yesterday, and it already feels like it needs it again! :angry4:

Does anyone else have issues like this?

Hi - I don't have that issue, but you might want to consider using a mild sulfate shampoo at this time. I like Deva Lo Poo and No Poo but when my hair gets very greasy I use a mild drugstore shampoo with sulfate.

I know if you are totally cg it may seem like going over to the dark side :toothy7:but you could try it once and see how you feel about it.

i notice the same thing...i don't really do anything different just try to tolerate it for that week...doesn't
help that i feel as bloated as a beached whale that week too :( no wonder i get grumpy :)

Curlypearl, it does feel like I'm converting to the dark side, lol. I finally couldn't stand it anymore and used a clarifying sulfate shampoo the other day, and it seems to have helped a bit.

IAgal, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one with this issue! I've been trying to tolerate it, but there's times when I'll touch my hair (especially the under-layers) and think "Ewwww!" I clarified my hair again today with a sulfate-free shampoo because I couldn't stand the greasiness anymore. At the moment, I just want my hair to behave. :(
