Default Alba Botanica Soft Style Cream?

Hi(: I was wondering if this was a good product for clumps, hold, and moisture. Also, does it dry out hair in winter because of the glycerin? What's the texture to it? Looks like a good product.

Thanks!

I was very curious about this product a while back, so I did some research on the board. Curlies with fine hair found it to be too rich, whereas those with a coarser texture got great results.

Diaspora was a huge fan of the Alba curl cream, but I haven't seen her around here lately. If we're lucky she'll drop in and give us an update on her experience with it

I tried it awhile back and the smell was awful I don't know if I got a bad one or what I decided to try it anyway and threw it out cause it didn't do anything for me.

Yes, I forgot about that - people complained that it smelled like Elmer's glue, although the tube says "fragrance free". Yuck!

Thanks for the input! Hmmm...the smell might be a turnoff, but my leave-in's smell is pretty strong and might cover it up.

However, the description says it contains protein, and my hair HATES ANY protein at all:/ But I don't see protein in the ingredients list? Am I mistaken?
Purified water, VP/VA copolymer, behentrimonium methosulfate, cetearyl alcohol, cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, vegetable glycerin, tocopherol (vitamin E), guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride, camellia sinensis (green tea) extract, certified organic extracts of aloe barbadensis leaf, lavandula angustifolia (lavender), melissa officinalis and chamomilla recutita (matricaria), citric acid, polyquaternium-10, phenoxyethanol

"Enriched with herbal extracts, botanical oils and plant proteins, without any of the ingredients that can be harmful to your hair..."

Thanks!
