Devacurl One Condition allergy

I seem to have an allergy to something in Devacurl One Condition (causes a rash on my chest/back and itchy scalp) but have no problem with the No Poo. Has anyone else experienced this? Unfortunately, my hair loves it, however. When I switched to Suave Naturals coconut, no allergy but my hair didn't look as good. I also tried tresemme Naturals but the scent was too strong for me and hair wasn't as nice. Can anyone recommend something similar to One Condition?

i got a rash as well, and i attributed it to the hops extract (i also have a sensitivity to beer, although i still drink it of course). i've been avoiding hops in my products, and i've been rash-free. i also still use the devacare low-poo, but i think the shampoos have less of the hops extract. hth.

To me the MopTop daily conditioner is very similar to the OneC. The MopTop does not contain hops, but it does have protein in case anyone has sensitivities. It smells very similar to the OneC as well (lemon sage scent). It's not any cheaper than the OneC, unfortunately. I also really like CJ curl assurance smoothing daily conditioner - its not a dupe of the OneC but its a nice daily RO. Also, have you considered that the fragrance could be what you're allergic too? You could try the Devacure version of OneC (I believe the ingredients are similar - including hops- but the scent is different) and see if you get the same results minus the rash.

Yep, leaves my scalp ultra itchy and causes me to break out. I love the no poo though and I have no problems with it.

Thanks for the product suggestions! I might have a bit of a challenge hunting them down because I'm in Canada. You can get DevaCurl and that's why I was using it.

@etTu2, do you know what you are allergic to in it?

Ive never broken out with any other products before though.
