Angry ends are so dam poofy !!!

I cowash with Suave coconut, I brush Shea moisture curl souffle through with Denman , then i apply BRHG gel. Hair looks great wet but as soon as it dries, the ends poof out . I'm so frustrated because I feel I'm liberal with product there but they still get all poofy, frizzy, dry etc. any thoughts? thanks in advance.

Worrying is like being in a rocking chair; it gives me something to do but it doesn't get me anywhere.

Best combo so far:
Shea moisture leave-in and BRHG

I didn't see your hair properties other than 2c /3a, and they're something that contributes in a big way to what ingredients will work on your hair. That said, the SM Curling Souffle has a good amount of glycerin in it, which can cause some dryness and frizz if the air is dry. Additionally, BRHG has a good amount of protein in it, which can create some poof depending on your current moisture /protein balance. Just a guess, but I'd point to the protein in BRHG before figuring the Souffle is the problem. Perhaps try scrunching a little extra souffle into the ends and see if that helps.

Ends of hair tend to be more damaged than the rest of the strands simply because they're the oldest part which has been exposed to the elements longer. So, the ends sometimes require more moisture and less protein than the rest, or depending on hair properties, they sometimes want more protein and more moisture both.

You may just need to concentrate on your ends more when moisturizing/styling - like do you usual and then a bit more just for your ends. Also try sealing.

That may help, but I have never had puffy ends go away no matter what. For me puffy ends mean it's time for a trim no way around it.

I have similar hair as you and use suave coconut too. I personally find that I have to use a heavier rinse out conditioner afterwards. Also I use the Shea moisture smoothie sometimes as a heavier leave in. The souffle is more of a gel type product, so maybe it's not moisturizing enough? I'd suggest using a leave in under BRHG.
