Default advice needed ---> hairdresser put shine serum in my hair

hello curly friends

im a long time lurker and first time poster

ive been doing cg method for nearly a year now but a very basic version as I've been a bit lazy with experimenting....

anyway i went for a haircut today (it had been more than a year and I was really worried about them hacking it but it turned out ok)
HOWEVER

she put in a shine serum at the end which is loaded with dimethicones...(noooooo)....

so does this mean i have to sulfate wash again or can i bicarbonate rinse it out (i do regular bicarbonate rinses anyway to get rid of oiliness)?

any help would be appreciated..

You'll have to wash it out, but not necessarily with sulfates. If you get a low poo with cocomidapropyl betaine it will remove them. Hth...
