Default Bangs - yay or nay?

Hoping this works since its the first time I'm posting a pic. I got bangs this past weekend and I'm already having a love hate relationship with them. What do you ladies think - and be honest! I don't want to walk down the street thinking I look good when I look like a complete mess! Thank you!

The disclaimer: I believe it's important for a person to wear her hair in a style that makes her feel comfortable, regardless of anyone else's opinion.

That said, my limited opinion is the length is slightly distracting and they could be raised a little so they're not partially covering your eyes. I also tend to like bangs cut on the diagonal. I like that you kept you bangs curly. I personally cringe when bangs are straight against moderately or really curly hair. But there is no real right or wrong and who am I to judge anyway?: my bangs are jacked up in one of the pics in my album haha (Hadn't re-styled them yet, following my Devacut).

Again, you should do whatever you want

I think they look great! I would hesitate to recommend shortening them, because if you get more height on the crown that will shorten them naturally without cutting them. Of course, some of us when we see bangs that long "feel" them in our own eyes, and it makes us uncomfortable (my mother was like this-always wanting my hair out of my eyes), but you are wearing them and your comfort with them is what is important.

Thank you both! I do like them but wasn't sure if they looked ok. And I know exactly what you're talking about raindear - I have a 2 year old and I am always clipping her hair back cause i hate it when they're on her eye! I now know how my dad felt when I had side swept bangs and he kept telling me to pin them cause they annoyed him!

The cool think about curly hair & bangs is that you brush them back or to the side to change things up! They look great; lucky yours are curly, mine tend to be straight!

Thumbs up

I love them! I think they're perfect and I wouldn't shorten them or change a thing. The curl is perfect and they compliment your face shape! Enjoy!

Thanks everyone!

And thanks Lianna - love the videos and got a couple of great ideas on how to style!

I just had a baby about 6 months a go so a lot of my hair fell out around 3 months but its growing back now. Hoping the bangs get fuller with the new growth!

Back on Cones,so now my routine is,wash with Deva No-Poo every other day or so. Occasionally use 365 sulfate free, maybe use low sulfate shampoo mixed with conditioner once every two weeks are longer. I condition with Aussie Moist or HEHH. I style with a little GF TN,and finish up with tons of GN Pure Clean Smoothing Cream. No frizz...slippy, happy hair.

Thanks! They are slightly annoying but then I just move them to the side and they look good there too. Just wanted to make sure they looked ok if I put em down like in the pic.
