Default Help before i buy!

Okay, I'm thinking about purchasing the Denman brush. I have good definition, but I'd like better definition, and it'd help with product distribution. I only use conditioner but if i miss a spot it sticks out like a sore thumb because it's so fuzzy in comparison lol. And idk, would the brush be worth it?

bumping for you. I have it sitting in my cart. I *need* the product (you all understand I do need it, I'm sure lol) but I have the CLU towels and this brush in the cart and just can't commit and hit "checkout." Have to decide, though, I'm precariously low on my CJ condish!!!!

I am unfamiliar with your phone. Can you surf the Internet? If so, in the app touch the area around the user name. It should turn a color and give you a couple of options. Select more, then select open in browser. Then you can see siggy's. HTH. I think I'm just going to order it. It's $10 and I'm ordering other stuff anyway. *coughjunkiecough* haha

I used my Denman last night, and had the BEST curl day today!!!! Super clumpage and definition!!! My hair did have more shrinkage, but I don't mind! I'd post pics but none of my cameras work!!!

I detangled with it in the shower, and then I scrunched water into my hair (kind of the the Super Soaker method). Next, I scrunched my conditioner in and reshaped some of my curls, and sealed with coconut oil! My only problem was that I didn't have much root curl, but I don't think that will be a problem for you because I think you have more hair than I do!

I am loving this brush!! It is distributing product beautifully, detangling, and also getting out all loose hair. Before, no matter how well I thought I had combed with the wide tooth comb, it would still tangle easily and I would always have hair all over my hands when I raked in the gel. No more!!

I am using the brush in the shower to distribute my RO and LI. Just out of the shower I am using it to distribute JCCC.

I am still working on the rest of the routine. The first day, I used the Denman to distribute gel, too. I didn't like the results; however, I started a new gel the same day and I think that caused the problem, not the brush. When I get the gel issue worked out and know I get good curls from it, I will try using the brush to distribute it again and see what happens. But it's my new HG as far as the in-shower routine.

I love mine, and I don't think it matters which one you get...I didn't get the brand name one, I got one from the pharmacy that is shaped like the denman and it is infused with coconut and palm oil! lol! I am not sure how they did that cause it just looks like an ordinary brush to me.

Tell you this though, that brush has changed my hair! Great definition and joy of joys, I love the feeling on my scalp as I brush - I use it to detangle with my condish and then again when applying LI, and I stay tangle free after!

Have fun at Sally's Let us know how it works out for you!

I just picked one up at Sally's a few days ago - the D3 model (has seven rows) - it was $7.99. I've used it twice now, and really like it. I used it to detangle and distribute my LI and styler. I did notice after the first use that I didn't have as much volume on top and less root curl (although I have a weaker curl pattern so this may not be an issue for others). I do a type of super soaker, and the second time i used it, I scrunched in more water after using the brush. I also used the brush with my head flipped over and scrunched in a bit more styler after brushing to avoid flat top and encourage root curl. Got great clumping and definition.

My favorite brands are Kinky Curly, As I am, Curly Kinks, Curl Junkie, and Darcy's Botanicals. Also love sealing with oils (loving argan oil right now) and styling with jelly products (KCCC is my current favorite). Mostly trying to keep it simple!

I got the D3 from CurlMart. No idea how it is compared to any others.

I got the best clumps today after using it to distribute a DT. Rinsed DT then used brush again, shook head slightly and the clumps magically appeared - I am not kidding and it was SO COOL!! Amazing. Holy Grail - and getting better each time I use it.

Jsuzkelley, did brushing while flipped over give you any strange root curl? I have a knock-off type brush from before I went CG and I'm thinking about giving it a try in the shower. I have been raking my LI in and then smoothing over some EVOO and gel and it's seemed to work so I'd like to give the brush a try with LI as well but I always apply products upside down. Somehow the idea of brushing upside-down seems tricky to me though... any thoughts?
