Suave Conditioners
I've been looking for a new conditioner and I was wondering which ones you like in the Suave Naturals line.
Which ones are your favorite? Why is it your favorite? Is it moisturizing, protein, or balanced? Do you use it for co-washing, rinse outs, or leave-ins? How does it affect your hair? (softer, straighter, smoother, more moisturized, more defined, curlier, clumpier?) I'm looking for a conditioner that can help my hair reach its curl potential. Any suggestions? Thanks |
Tropical Coconut is my all time favorite but Everlasting Sunshine is a very very close 2nd. I love them both.
I use them for condition washing (I only leave in a bit in if my hair is feeling dry in the winter time). I like the thickness, they have good slip for detangling, and they smell great. |
I use the Suave Naturals Tropical Coconut for co-washing. It's not my personal preference, but it works for me. My boyfriend has a terrible chemical sensitivity and this one is okay for him. Do you have any idea how many products have scent? It's an ordeal trying to find unscented hair products for a curly.

Jessicurl products come unscented (in addition to thier 2 yummy scents). They sell sample sizes, maybe you could give it a try.

I heard that the Tropical Coconut has protein in it. Would you consider it as a protein conditioner or more moisturizing?

I think my favorite is Juicy Green Apple. Honestly I don't see any difference between the products besides scent (and the protein in the Coconut of course), an I loooooove anything apple scented. I use it to detangle or in a water-conditioner spray for tough ups since it's nice and light.

I like the tropical coconut. I use it for quick co washes once in a while. I like how it smells and I get enough slip to de-tangle I just wish the coconut ingredient wasn't so far down on the list.
I once took a whiff of the strawberry scent and it smelled so artificial it made me sick. |
I use the Waterfall Mist and Lavender Lilac because those are protein free.
Use them for CO, RO & LI. |
I use the coconut as CO, RO, LI

Which ones do you guys think is the most moisturizing?

Hands down the Everlasting Sunshine I put this on everything. The Mango Mandarin is good also. I'm not a fan of the tropical Coconut.
