Default How do you use curl creams

Ok so I love curl creams but need to know your tried and tested tricks because all the methods I tried haven't given me great results. I like lots and lots of volume which is why I'm trying to stay away from gels.

So - how do you use your curl cream? After a leave in? After blotting your hair? Before blotting your hair? On soaking yet or somewhat damp hair? Thanks ladies!

I use them after a leave in. I dont really blot my hair, I just squeeze the excess water out right after the shower, then apply leave in, and then curl creme. I smooth it through my hair, and brush it through with a wide toothed comb, and then gently scrunch.
