I need a good leave in!
My hair is fine but dense, normal porosity, 2b/3a mostly. The latest one I've tried has been goldwell rich repair, but I'm not loving it. My hair needs LOTS of moisture, especially in the winter.

I use GVPCB or SM retention condish as a LI! Love them both!
Have used Tresemme nats as a LI, too, but I don't like it quite as well. I do still dilute it in a spray bottle and use it to refresh with, though.
Do you use any oils for moisture or sealing? That helps me a lot!

GVPCB was too heavy for my very fine curls, although I use it for deep conditioning. I LOOOOOVE Tresemme' naturals Radiant Volume. I use a lot of it and it clumps beautifully, smells nice, and lets my curls be bouncy.
Bonus: It's not expensive, so if you don't like it, you're not out a ton of money.

For a LI I like SM curl and style milk, Curly kinks Satin Roots, and lately I've been trying (and liking) As I Am leave in. These are light enough that they don't weigh down my fine hair, but still pack enough moisture. I've also tried leaving in some of my CJ curl assurance smoothing conditioner - very moisturizing as a LI but more expensive. I also agree that if you haven't already, you should try sealing with an oil - this is a must for me in the winter.

I haven't tried that yet, I've always been afraid of using oils on my fine hair, but I'm definitely starting to think I should! Any particular oils? I don't like olive/coconut oil left in because the smell tends to linger, maybe sweet almond? Or are there pre-made oil blends that smell nice?

I use a mineral oil leave-in - Curlesque by TiGi. But then I use cone products...I don't think the LI has cones, though. Jas76 just wrote a post on mineral oil, you might like to look at it? good luck! I am well aware that what works on my hair or other's hair won't necessarily work on yours...maybe some experimentation is in order!
ETA Coconut oil is a great weekly DT for fine hair, if not for a leave-in I use it once a week and it is awesome! I have 3 types (even 4 or 5 on a good day) in fine hair, and my hair drinks coconut oil and leaves massive curls in it's wake

My hair officially hates protein Once a month is enough!
Currently a fan of TiGi products, (rock on, TiGi Curlesque styling creme!) but that will soon change - I am a self-avowed product junkie! Yay!
BIG fan of supersoaker method - thanks Rudeechick!

CJ Beauticurls is the best I've come across. I even go to the expense of getting it shipped over here as I can't find anything here that even comes close. I did like KC Knot Today too but CJ is the only thing that plays nice with CIAB in my hair.

The CurlJunkie leave in....Beauticurls? My hair feels best after using this. SO much more moisturized and soft compared other leave-ins I've tried.
I've also been trying out Paul Mitchell The Conditioner.....I don't hear a lot about it so maybe it's drying on others, but I've really been liking it. I've only used it twice but my hair came out great both times....more ringlet-y than usual and more shiny as well. The only thing I changed was using the PM (Sally has a generic that apparently works the same, I will probably get that next time).

I only use olive and coconut oil in my weekly DT; they are too heavy for me as a LI. For sealing, I like sweet almond or apricot kernel. I also like EO conditioning serum; this is a blend of oils. The scent is rose, but it doesn't linger. I only need a few drops of this to seal my hair.

Giovanni Direct Leave In is always a favorite of mine. It's very light so it's great for finer hair and it's pretty inexpensive.

I use Tresemme Naturals conditioner as my leave in due to the fact the UK isn't so great at selling good, cheap leave ins, like there aren't many at all compared to the US Does anyone else use it? What's your opinions of it?

I've really been liking SM Coconut Hibiscus Milk, using the Smoothie to seal. However, the other day I tried Oyin Handmade Hair Dew for the first time and I think I'm smitten!! We'll see.

I do! I love it! I use it as my RO/LI and seal with olive oil. I get soft, frizz-free curls every time!

I got mine via the swap board. I think unless you live in Baltimore where they have a brick-and-mortar store, you have to order online. Their website is Oyin Handmade-Natural Hair and Body Care Products , but I know CurlMart and a few others carry the products as well. HTH!
