I once lived in Washington DC for a year, and I loooooved it...y'all have everythang over there! and I really liked the American people, so nice! Hopefully they will post us back there again

Well, my best friend lives in Toronto, and I adored that city!! If I were ever to move to Canada, that's where I'd go. Lol!
Definitely look into Walmart! It's worth trying!

I once lived in Toronto for 6 years, we lived in the Beaches area so I could walk the dogs on the boardwalk - it was awesome! The dogs loved it, and so did I I am glad you enjoyed it! Montreal and Vancouver are both rockin' cities, too.
I just checked the Canadian Walmart - nada ;p Next I will try the USA one to see if they'll ship...also I think I will try the Herbal Essence ones.

Triple_Spiral, I did the yogourt/honey/EVOO/mayo mix today...first I clarified with BS and ACV, then did the protein pack, then followed up with coconut oil, then shampoo and condish. My roots are looking good (only dry bits so far! lol!) and I feel really clean and conditioned, so I think your were on the money...it feels like it needed the protein. Glad I followed up with the coconut though, cause when I rinsed out the protein, my hair felt soooo dry! Thanks for your input...Now I have to try and find the Repair Me!

I am just bumping this to say thanks to both of you, since I did what both of you suggested, my issue seems to be over. Kathymack, I stopped diffusing - I am just blowdrying my roots gently and carefully to get volume (clips don't work for me) - I also switched gels (now using Aussie Instant Freeze) and I am NOT touching anything till it is bone dry! lol! I have also been adding condish to my low-poo when I wash, to get extra moisture in. And now everything is great so thank you so much!
I need to try your soap bars...I found the link for your FOTKI page and I will order after Christmas, when I have some money again, lol!
Also, I wanted to ask you both - does FSG have protein in it? I can't seem to find info on that...if anyone can answer that, I'd be so grateful!

I knew that many grains contain amino acids, so I did a search before I answered. Get the Facts on Flax This article says yes. FSG is so simple to make (the straining is difficult, but it gets better as you get used to it), you really should try to make some. It really cheap, too. You can pick up some flax seeds at any health food store, or place that sells edibles by the pound.
You can add any ingredient you know your hair likes. If you make a little, and it works, you can go on from there.

Thanks so much for answering, Kathymack! I keep forgetting to Google things before asking... *hangs head in shame* ;p lol!
I will try to make some, I have seen the recipes here. Since my hair seems to like certain food-substance proteins, such as seaweeds, yogourt and etc, maybe it will like the flax seed, too. Since hanging around here I have started thinking about trying the natural, no-silicone route to see what happens
Darned hair. I wish it could talk, that'd help! lol! Then I would know exactly what to feed it
