Default Protein Free Gel for Low Dew Points?

Anyone know something I can use in low dewpoints (below 40 and around 20?)

I can't use protein and don't want a lot of chemicals.

Also, what about a good LI that's protein free for low dews?

I use Aussie instant freeze or herbal essences set me up gel. Both are protein and glycerin free and do great for me especially in tougher climates.

Aussie Instant Freeze. KCKT and Tresemme Naturals are both protein free. My favorite leave-ins are Oyin Hair Dew and CJ Beauticurls and I think both are protein free.

Which aussie instant freeze? The sculpting or the maximum hold?

I think I've only used the sculpting gel; I didn't realize there was more than one!

I was referring to this one:
Curl Junkie BeautiCurls Leave-In Conditioner - NaturallyCurly.com

I do like the Strengthening one for light protein and light moisture and in higher dews. I know you can't do protein though.

I know some people can't do castor oil cuz of the build up. My hair seems to just drink up the Hair Dew! Since you're prone to build up, it might not be the best choice.

I love Curl Rehab (glycerin free) as a LI, RO or DC. As far as actual CJ leave-ins, the only one I can use is the Curl Assurance Smoothing Lotion (does have glycerin though). I believe the other CJ conditioners have horsetail and /or nettle that seems to disagree with my hair.

It's hard to know if buildup is from my method (that clearly wasn't working) or actual ingredients -

after I co-washed yesterday with Suave the way Waterlily716 does in her video, and then combed through, RO, my hair didn't feel like any build up - so I think I just wasn't co-washing properly, then I'd get fedup and poo-wash (prell or castille soap!)

I can try this!
