Default Help with morning curls!

Hi everyone - I need some advice. My hair looks like crap every morning!

This is my routine: hair is 3B

Cowash hair at night with: Say Yes to Carrots Conditioner
Use Curl Junkie Curl Coco Coffee
Use Curl Junkie Pattern Pusha
Botecelli Botanicals Mudd Foolproof formula

Plop for like 15 minutes

go to bed w hair wet. Wake up and it looks crappy. Do you guys have any recommendations for what I should put on it in the morning to freshen it up?

Is your hair dry when you wake up?

I like to have my hair dry especially before going to bed because any touching or disrupting them when wet = frizz and also doesnt allow my styling products to set.
Maybe you could diffuse before going to bed?

In the mornings, have your tried re-wetting your hair? The gels I use re activate when I re wet them so I just scrunch some water in and then smooth sections in between my hands and the curls set again.

Agree with the others. Definitely don't go to bed with wet hair. Either shower early enough that it air dries or diffuse.

Plop over night! Right after the shower plop & go to bed & when you wake up your hair should be dry and mostly frizz free

In the past I've tried to style my hair as early (in the evening) as possible for maximum air drying, then pinneappled my hair over night. It wouldn't completely dry since it was so long but It certainly worked.

I do not recommend plopping overnight though.... that's always been a disaster for me... like, horrifically bad.

you could also try leaving the mudd off until the morning and scrunching it in then.

thanks everyone! I tried something the other night that seemed to work. I take the inspiration from the Smasters method. (tried this in the evening)

Co-wash with Say yes to carrots
CJ Pattern Pusha
BB Mudd
Rake all three products then scrunch

plop for about 15/20 minutes. let hair air dry for an hour
put KCCC in and scrunch

hair looked great in the morning! (was still wet when I went to bed)

Thanks for your help everyone
