Ok so im 15 years old and I have hair that about to my shoulders. Its so big and unruly and it get matts in it even if i brush it well, but i can RARELY brush it. Im white (very pale haha) and my hair is 3a probly. But I really need some help... people make fun of me at school, even my friends :/ I just want it to stop, and I refuse to straighten my hair. Any products, cuts, tips for me? And the attachment is of me :p but my hair was up so its not as curly.

Knowing your hair properties and not just your type will help :) also, product and methods used matter...hth! (by the way, please don't brush your hair when it is dry...! That's not so good for curlies...Have you tried only brushing it when it is wet and full of conditioner? That will help reduce the puff...) And, I think you look great - you just need to learn how to handle your lovely mane :)

Moisture moisture moisture!!! :) the links in maddy's post are great. Find your hair properties. I think if you can find the right products and routine, your curls are going to pop and become the envy of everyone!

Sally beauty supply and the drugstore have plenty of great products. I highly recommend generic vale products conditioning balm from Sally's for conditioner!! Aussie instant freeze and herbal essences set me up gel are two great drugstore styling gels.

Many people use suave naturals or vo5 conditioners with great success - Walmart or target have them for $1-$2. It's a great place to start!
