Default Help with what hair type I am.

Hello everyone! I am brand new and this is actually my first post. I have been trying to find out for the last few weeks what type I am. When I got a Devacut a couple weeks ago I was told that I am a 3a but that just seems to curly for me.

I have found out that I am either low or medium porosity, dense, and my hair hates protein (found that out the hard way with a protein treatment). Any help would be awesome!

3a is probably about right. Usually 3a hair needs a certain amount of length to really see ringlets. And you already have a pretty good idea of your properties, so I won't go into the whole properties are more important than curl pattern bit. BTW, you have beautiful hair!

Dream hair. This is the hair that I can't stop staring at on the train and such!

But more technically speaking, yes, I would agree with 3a

Er, I am not seeing 3A. The OP looks less curly to me than either Corrina's or dsotomayor. Though maybe it is just finer and that is throwing me off.

looks like 2C/3A mix to me...wavy and curly at the same time.

BIG fan of supersoaker method - thanks Rudeechick!
