Johnson baby oil for sealing-anyone?
I am planning to try this oil for sealing.. It's a mineral oil with fragrance..do any of u guys use it? If so how much do u use? Do u use it before or after the leave in?

Just fyi, it won't do anything to moisturize, its just too heavy to sink into the hair shaft. It may just sit on top and risk looking greasy.
I personally can't even use baby oil on my body. Its too thick.
Then again, maybe someone with drier coarser hair will chime in.

Will be a great sealer. It's mineral oil after all! Use it after your leave in.

MO is my HG!! I put in my LI, then Put a few drops of MO over that (with hair still very wet), then my stylers.
Sometimes I mix a little LI with it so it's easier to tell where I'm distributing it.
I do low-poo once or twice a week, but even when I co-wash I've never had any problems with build-up.
It has to be plain MO - no additives like aloe or vit E, etc. (fragrance isnt a problem, tho.). And you are using a few drops!
It seals in moisture, and deals OUT humidity (when that applies). I love it! I thought I would hate it, too, but tried it after I read an article here on NC that explained it. (I made a thread about it, actually!)
Give it a shot! If you hate it, you can always wash it out!

I started sealing with baby oil after reading Jas76's thread. I focus mainly on the hair at my nape, and not only is it not heavy or greasy, it's been amazing for reducing tangles in this area (my biggest problem area). I primarily co-wash and have no buildup issues.
