Default How to plop

Hello, I'm new here and this is my first post. I'm eager to get started with my curly routine as my hair is very unruly. But I'm a bit baffled about plopping. I ordered the Rich trial pack from Jessicurl and the microfiber "plunking" towel from her website. My question is, do you apply product, scrunch manually, and then plop? Or do you just apply products and plop your hair in the towel from there? My hair is not too long, a couple inches past my shoulders. Are there certain hair lengths this works better on? Thanks for taking the time to read, and thanks for any advice! I really need it!

Hi, welcome to the group!

To answer your question, Jess has videos on her website that explain how to use all of her products, and how to plunk/plop. Here's the link: http://www.jessicurl.com/Demo-Videos-p-6.html

As for applying product, scrunching, and plopping, it all depends really. Different people do different things; you'll have to experiment to find out what works the best with your hair! (In my opinion, plopping works best with long-ish hair; I think your length should be fine). You may even decide that plopping is not for you.

Have fun experimenting!

I would definatly watch her videos, they are a great help. I apply product, scrunch in and then plop. My hair is about your length, and plopping works well for me, just make sure you don't get any hair caught in the part of the towel that you twist to the back.
