How do you guys keep your hair moisturized in winter
Hi guys..
I have 2a hair which feels dry everytime I DC. this has been happening every since the weather began to feel a bit chilly.. I DCd with SMT (snowymoons moisture treatment) which usually works very well for me, but I'm guessing I need a more moisturizing treatment now that the air is going to be exceptionally dry. So how do you DC in winter and how often? How do you wash out an oil treatment? I usually don't like to shampoo out my DC . |
My favourite DT is a pack made of avocado , honey rosemary EO and olive oil... Its very moisturising ... I mix lemon juice with my co washing condish to remove the oil out of my hair..HTH :)

I haven't heard of the DT you use but other product suggestions are GVP conditioning balm, Yes to Cucumbers, Curl Junkie Curl Rehab and Spiral Solutions Deeply Decadent.
Another option is using heat. Some people heat up a towel and put it on their heads, others may use a blow dryer on low. |
Thanks guys.. I'm going try them out.. And use heat..

Deep conditioning with heat weekly makes a big diff for me in winter. I like curl rehab, deva heaven in hair. Ouidad deep treatment,
Also i add a little moisturizer to my ends every night before bed. Usually deva set it free or oyin whipped pudding. This helps my hair not dry out overnight |
Yeah heat makes a huge difference :)
