Default Should I invest in curling rods/rollers?

I always hated rolling up my hair at night. Such a tedious, time consuming task. Is it necessary as a natural? Do I have to roll up my hair every night in rollers?

Also, if you do, how many sections do you part your hair in and how many rollers do you use? What are some good rollers to buy? Curlformers? Flexirods?

I do not roll up my hair at night. That sounds really time consuming....also I have curlformers, and I know I could never sleep in them, too uncomfortable. If you're looking to stretch your hair for the night, it's probably easier to to some big twists. Personally I don't stretch or anything, just use a satin cap or scarf to avoid tangles, and that's it. No fuss. Wake up in the morning and fluff or sometimes rewet/style.
